ASSISTED ATHLETIC STRETCH SESSION

Flexibility is key for athletic performance, injury prevention, improved range of motion and speeding recovery. This one-on-one assisted athletic stretch session incorporates the KI HARA Method (see description below) of Resistance Stretching that Olympic Athlete Dara Torres touts as her “secret weapon”. Sessions can range from post workout mini session (15 – 30 minutes) or an intensive full body session (1 – 1 ½ hours) to include compression “mashing” massage and dynamic flexibility for the entire body.

ATHLETIC FLEXIBILITY

Combines foam roller exercises & "mashing" for myofascial release with yoga poses and stretches for improved flexibility, function, performance and reduced injuries. limited to 3 people. Hands on assisted stretches, adjustments and mashing.

Refined by Steve Sierra and Anne Tierney of Innovative Body Solutions, Ki-Hara is flexibility, strength and core work incorporating concentric and eccentric training to develop strength and flexibility in multiple planes of movement for muscular performance. It’s like no training you’ve ever done before. During Ki Hara, muscles are contracted and lengthened at the same time. Before and after the assisted stretch sessions, you’re muscles will be “mashed” - a technique of deep tissue and fascia release to help loosen up muscles, flush toxins, and get maximum results.

Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching is a comprehensive and innovative approach to flexibility training. By contracting the muscle as it is lengthened, tension and torque is taken out of the muscles and joints. The results are more powerful, explosive and core stable movements, protection from overstretching, effectively addressing muscle imbalances which are at the root of most injuries. It is a balanced and integrated approach to well-being and creates lasting change.

THAI YOGA BODYWORK

THERAPEUTIC YOGA

Incorporates Yogafit Therapy techniques. Ideal for sports injuries or post rehab, this one-on-one session is customized to clients needs, assessing posture, movement and stability/flexibility to formulate a yoga pose prescription and mind/ body techniques to address muscular imbalances and mindfulness to create health and balance. Assisted Thai Yoga stretches and Myofascial release techniques can be incorporated. Sessions can be coordinated with the clients physician or physical therapist.

ULTIMATE FLEXIBLE WARRIOR SESSION

One-on-one flexibility session for athletes includes a combo of Athletic Yoga for Sports Conditioning, Ki Hara Resistance stretching for dynamic, functional flexibility, “Mashing” compression myofacial massage and Thai Yoga massage techniques for the ultimate in recovery and flexibility for athletes.
